The Competently Adventuring Waiter

Finally I dropped the kids at the tennis camp. They were still very sleepy and there was not much energy left in their bodies. Fortunate to see that they were not the only sleepy kids; I think it is difficult for almost all the children to start the normal routine again after 9 weeks of holidays. The tennis trainers know exactly how to deal with this because they always organize this camp one week before school starts. Our kids know nearly all the children of the tennis lessons given each week and they have been to this camp before, it is organized every school holiday. I cannot wait to pick them up and hear cheerful stories.

I like the possibilities that modern technology gives us. Internet applications, computer games that make you move and interactive tv make my life nice, I strongly believe. It does give some more stress at moments, though. For instance, when going on holiday a vast part of our luggage is now composed of electronics, each with its own charger, because all these things need power and apparently it is not possible to design a universal charger that can handle everything. Still it’s nice and we can for example send our holiday pictures to relatives even before we’re back home again. They appreciate that a lot, I’ve been told.
